Prototype idea 2

User can choose a star rating for each presentation/project. Allows more projects to get votes for 2nd and 3rd place.

The submit button will send vote (animation of paper airplane) into the ballot box.

Physical voting – ballots

In presidential and government elections, they use a voting ballot where the voter rates the options from 1-10 (1 being their top choice and 10 being their last choice).

I was thinking that it would tie into the psychology of voting as no one is left without getting a vote – allows new candidates to be recognised.

Bad ballot design can result in voters being confused and voting for the wrong thing. Instructions must be clear and correspond with the design.
